Frequently asked questions

How do I earn screen time?

Open HonorFit, log your reps on the rep wheels (pushups, situps, pull ups, or squats), and hit submit. Every rep deposits minutes into your balance. Your balance only counts down while you're inside a blocked app — switching away pauses the clock.

How does the app know I actually did the exercise?

It doesn't — that's the point. HonorFit runs on the honor system. There's no camera, no motion tracking, and no AI verification. You log your own reps. If you cheat, the only person you're lying to is the one doing zero pushups.

Why does the app ask for usage access / screen time permissions?

Blocking apps requires knowing when a blocked app comes to the foreground.

An app I blocked isn't being blocked. What do I check?

Does HonorFit collect any of my data?

No. Nothing you do in the app ever leaves your device. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking. See the full privacy policy.

What does Pro add?

Pro adds custom exercises and rep values (so you can tune the economy to your own fitness level), saved routines, hard mode (every rep earns half its normal time), an optional reset of your balance at midnight, and removes the cap on banked time. The free tier banks up to 20 minutes at a time.

How do I delete my data?

Everything is stored in the app's private storage on your device — uninstalling the app deletes all of it. There's nothing on any server to delete.
